Midwest Food Bank Florida began hosting mobile food pantries in Lehigh Acres and Immokalee in June. Volunteers Al Chilsom and Deb Dahlke, part of the Servants of Christ Outreach, conduct the pantries. They schedule the pantries and staff them with volunteers.

Midwest Food Bank Florida has been experiencing some exciting growth. We've made some changes recently to adjust to the volume of food we receive and the number of agencies we serve.
In March, we changed our distribution model to every Tuesday. Prior to this, distribution was only two days per month.

Josh is currently working on his Bachelor Degree in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Walmart has awarded Midwest Food Bank Florida an $80,000 grant to purchase a refrigerated box truck to serve those in need. Expected to arrive in January 2018, this blessing will allow MFB to expand the number of agencies served.
